Remote Hands
On-demand physical datacenter support for hardware tasks, cable management, and emergency power cycles across all Japanese facilities.
Remote hands · Tokyo & Osaka
Local technicians in Tokyo and Osaka data centers. English coordination, 24/7/365 dispatch.
Your hardware is in Tokyo or Osaka. Your engineers are not. Kirinhost provides remote hands in Japan: trained technicians inside Equinix and NTT data centers, available 24/7/365, coordinated in English and reported bilingually.
What remote hands means
Remote hands is a general term for services offered by colocation providers that let customers delegate IT management and maintenance work within the data center facility to technicians employed by the provider.
We currently operate locations in Osaka and Tokyo and provide remote hands work on a case-by-case basis at the following locations.
Vendor-certified technical datacenter support across Osaka and Tokyo Japanese facilities. From network configuration to compliance documentation, delivered by engineers with multi-vendor expertise.
Kirinhost provides data center on-site support in Japan’s two main colocation markets: Tokyo and Osaka. Our technicians work inside major carrier-neutral facilities, including Equinix and NTT data centers. Our smart hands Tokyo work covers sites such as Equinix TY8 and AT TOKYO CC1; Osaka coverage follows the same model. You open a request, we go on site. No travel, no visa runs, no waiting for your own staff to fly in.
Tip
Add our technicians to your access list before you need them, so an emergency dispatch never waits on paperwork.

24/7/365 smart hands
We are on call 24/7/365 for dispatch and standby. The menu covers the physical work your team cannot do from abroad: server and switch installation (rack and stack), copper and fiber cabling with patching and labeling, hardware replacement and parts swaps (disks, PSUs, memory), power cycling and console access via KVM or crash cart, visual inspections and LED status checks with photo reports, inventory and asset tagging, receiving and unpacking shipments, and decommissioning with secure removal.
For complex faults, our technician stands at your rack while your engineer directs the work over video call. If you need server installation in Japan without sending anyone, this is how it gets done.
Response times
Emergency requests are accepted 24/7/365, including nights, weekends and Japanese public holidays. Planned work is booked into a time window you choose, and we are at the rack on schedule.
How fast a technician reaches your rack in an emergency depends on the facility, its access rules and whether your access authorization is already in place, so we confirm a realistic arrival time for your specific site when you contact us, instead of promising a generic SLA. New requests are quoted within 1 business day.
Our remote hands service is designed for infrastructure teams outside Japan: CDN and edge operators, cloud and hosting providers, carriers, and platforms running a few racks in Tokyo or Osaka.
